Doing Implementation Or Facilitating Consulting Project Implementation

In previous issues we’ve already discussed the ins and outs of consulting project implementation. And now here it is again. Many consultants don’t want to get their hands dirty with implementation, but realistically, advice without implementation is roughly as useful as a fart in a windstorm.

Clients need full solutions, and that must include implementation. But implementation doesn’t need to mean that you provide the implementation team from your consulting firm. What it means is that you facilitate the implementation process for a team consisting of people from the client’s company.

Granted, it takes a bit longer than staffing the team from your people, but I think this is the only truly “teach you how to fish” implementation process. And this is what we discuss this month's nipple-piercingly mind-bending episode of Commando Consulting, entitled, “Doing Implementation Or Facilitating Consulting Project Implementation”.

Enjoy!
